Happy National Girls and Women in Sports Day!

Despite us living through such unusual times, it was not unusual for us to have amazing entries for this year’s National Girls and Women in Sports Day Essay Contest! The female students in the region continue to impress and amaze with their ideas for a better world and community. While NGWSD only happens once per year, we know that girls everywhere are doing amazing things all year round. Applaud, recognize, and support these efforts as we look towards a brighter future for all.

We are excited to share the honorees this year. Please visit the 2021 Winning Essays tab to read the work of the first place winner in each grade category.
